Yes
so tonight im going to do some exploring. theres a nice abandend swimming pool to take some photos in. unfortunatelly i wont have my tripod. and the place is almost pitch black inside at night.

so any ideas on getting some brighter shots without tripod. and trying to avoid using flash. as i may get caught if seen lol. and it isnt as astetically (poor spelling) pleasing with flash. i have my nift fifty with me which is quite good but i dont think it will be good enough on its own.

any ideas?

Have you a beanbag ?or you could rest your camera on something ,if not i think you,ll be struggling for a decent shot,if it's as dark as you as your saying it is hand held shots aren't really an option IMO ,but i might be wrong

You could put it on the floor. Sometimes, low level shots have a certain something.

What body are you using? As in, does it perform well at high ISO? Otherwise, as said you can only support it on something.
