Loxley ROES inop

Trying to get Loxley's ROES to work but had nothing but grief, any other iMac user have any issues or know any reason why I should be getting errors with Java exception errors.
Seems to work ( slowly) on my fiances PC but not on my macbook or iMac.... I will never hear the end of this Im sure..... Need to order prints ASAP so if i cant get this to work will need to post a CD to them or find another printer I can trust that has an online system that works.

PS as a trial I tried Samslabs ROES and seems to work with no issues so looks like my Java is OK.

It probably is the JAVA though - try rolling back to a previous version....

On my pc Loxley Roes packed up last week after a java update. I had to uninstall and the download it again from Loxley

I tried the Loxley system a few months back on my Powerbook and IMO the software is a pile of poo :thumbsdown: So ungainly and difficult to use. It's just not intuitive enough. I went back to Photobox in the end.

Scott, I had the same problem when I first started to use the mac. I contacted Loxley and they sent me a link to download a high-ram version and it's worked perfectly ever since. If you PM me you email addy, I'll forward it to you.

If you're still stuck call Loxley and ask for Derek - he's the kiddy for sorting out most IT problems

I had a similar problem and after contacting Loxley they said it was down to my ISP (orange) and that they were working on a solution. Five days later it was fixed. Fortunately I was able to connect and send orders through by taking my laptop to my parents house who use a different ISP.
