LR Mogrify problem

the problem is it does not work. I paid my euros and downloaded the LR mogrify for LRv1, and then moved everything into the library>applicatio support>adobe>lightroom>modules folder, but when i hit export in LR nothing happens. (err that is to say, nothing new happens, lr works fine, just like it did before the addition of mogrify)

i'm on a macbook, and using osx 10.5.5 I have tried my normal way of dealing with problems (reading about it, not understanding it, going out for coffee and hoping it goes away, getting drunk, throwing things, ect) but nothing seems to work. I'm just trying to water mark images, it should not be this hard.

help me, please.
 
helpful, but i need the watermark to stay when i export as a jpg, and upload to the site im working on, and you will lose that one.
 
Photoshop is the easiest option then I'm afraid, learn to use the actions facility, create your watermark and then run it as a script, you can even make what is called a droplet , you can drag and drop the JPEG's you want watermarking over a droplet and photoshop applies the action for you, after creating the droplet and the action for your watermark you just choose the source folder and then the destination folder.

Just google, 'photoshop actions' and 'photoshop droplet' for more info

Bit of a long way round but JAlbum will add a waterwark when building its galleries, you can just build one and then grab the files it creates. It's freeware...
 
hmm, im sure this mogrify thingy should do exactly what i want, i just seem to be to dumb to install it.
 
maybe i should throw money at the problem, and upgrade to lr2... i wonder if any one has paid an outstanding invoince yet...

Possibley yes, I have LR2 and have just installed the mogrify plugin succesfully and added watermarks to photo's in a very short space of time.
 
Not wishing to be condescending, but you have added it via the plugin manager?
 
With the LR1 version you don't, it's installed manually into the correct folder.
 
From the thread in the PP forum I think a (free) upgrade to LR v1.4 will fix the problem, as v1.0 doesn't support plug ins...
