a teeny bit soft as mentioned Stu, reckon that would sharpen a bit more, but considering the kit you are using, thats cracking mate roll on that L lens heh ?

Thank you all, I have done a bit of sharpening and added the image, would be interested to see if this is better or a bit OTT????

I like both images - the original one that was slightly 'soft' has a nice look about it and the sharpened one is very nice too.

I have to say that I prefer the original shot. The first is madly oversharpened ?

I agree with John re the sharpening of the edited version, it wont stand up to heavy sharpening but you should get away with a little bit of sharpening of the original.
Other than that I like the image a lot, it has tons of potential and thats my kind of perch

Try a bit of selective sharpening just around the eye and bill area.
