Wouldn't it be great to find another 5 hours a week which we could spend indulging ourselves in photography....well, I plan to. :naughty:

We all get a lunch hour, but we also all know that midday is not the best time for taking stunning landscapes etc, but I was hoping if we all put our heads together we could come up with a list of suitable subjects and ideas for a lunch hour shoot.

So, I'll start the list with...

*macro textures

Anyone got anything else to add.....

eating and resting is a good thing to do lunchtime ;)

depending on where you work it could be interesting (docks / manufacturing / race track)
or could be boring (office / shop / double glazing sales)

if you work near a shopping centre/high street, might be some urban / street stuff going on, but i wouldn't imagine it interesting every day.
buildings and architecture are always good (used to take it for granted when working in London back in the day).

how about getting a little lego man and photgraphing him doing stupid things.... like abseiling out the office window, or holding up the photocopier lid.

the possibilities are endless.... :)

I'm liking the lego man idea.

I sometimes take my kit into work, I've got Hampton Court a five minute walk away. There's only so much you can do repeatedly though before struggling to find new subjects.

you could actually take pictures of your colleagues on a daily basis.. and then say, at the end of every month.... come and have at look how much weight you've put on / your hairs grown / your crows feet have formed etc..

but remember not to use a long lens... it won't hurt so much when trying to extract it from your derriere!!
