I didn't realise that there was a new category here called "Night & Astro Photography "...so here goes...

Taken on holiday on the 5th of May 2014 in Fuerteventura.

Details:

AstroTrac TT320X-AG unguided
Baader modified Canon 650D with Astronomik CLS-CCD LPS Clip filter
Canon 500mm f/4 L IS lens

60x 90 seconds lights at ISO800
20x darks
20x flats
20x bias

A lovely wide shot of M8, and the lack of light pollution is clearly evident.

Now if we only enjoyed dark skies like that in the UK.

I can only reiterate here what a stunning image this is Stuart - It really is top drawer and you set the DSLR astro bar very high indeed. A super shot (y)
 
We are so lucky on this forum to have really talented photographers and the Night & Astro photography is awash with talent. Its a fantastic shot Stuart and I admire your skill and patience, i never tire of seeing these astro photographs
 
What a great image, you really most be very dedicated to achieve such great results.

Was in Fuerteventura in April I missed a trick tried to get some images of the Dunes
