Mac & 7D compatibiity

Ok im ready to hit it against a wall after 1 hour

My mac wont pick it up .. cant see it .. installed eos utility from disk .. tried applying update from canon still wont see it

when i tuend my 50d on it went boom into the mac .. the 7D not a peep?

Help please :(
 
Buy a PC :lol:

Seriously, no idea. Is this for tethered shooting or just downloading images?
 
Have you got the camera set to mass storage device? If not then it'll appear in iphoto and such like
 
cable .. same way as i always connected my 50D .. trying to load eos utility as thats all i want to use
 
panic over it was the frigging cable! it was brand new aswell :@
 
Have you installed the latest versions of Canon software, including EOS Utility? If you are using old 50D software it won't even know about the 7D. Maybe protocols have changed. Certainly the raw files will be new and will no doubt need a new CODEC for native viewing.
 
Your doing well.. No strap, cable broken, problem with charger(resolved)
No wonder she sold it.

Hope nothing else major happens otherwise you are up buggered street

i have indeed mate .. first thing i did :)

but yeah were cooking on gas now!

lol lady said she removes strap to post it and obviously forgot to put it n box so she has enveloped it and will post tomorrow lol Paaaaain
