Mac - Help required

Have just joined the ranks of the Mac user and have just gone into Safari but it is only displaying in the middle of the screen in portrait orientation. How do I make it fir to the whole screen?

The bottom right is the manual expander thingy m'bob...or click the green button in the top left! (Which seems to make different programs expand differently on my mac....)

Bottom right hand corner you will see three little lines going across the grey bar. Click and drag this to rearrange to a size to suit

Wow, hanks for the superfast replies! When I click on the green button, it only maximses upwards, not across. When I close and reopen, it resets to the portrait mode. Can I change the default rather than keep having to manually resize everytime I load Safari?

Be pepared for a barrage of Mac type questions gys!

Windows is a bit of a dirty girl...I used to tell her all the time that it was ok for me to change configurations but still, she asked each time! :bang:
