Visiting the apple web site, it maintains that you can use your existing keyboard,monitor,etc with the mac mini.

If thats the case, would Aperture run on it?, there-by getting the mac experience on a budget.:shrug:

I dont think its that bad to be honest.

I use a mac mini... Firstly, Apeture runs just fine, as does Photoshop CS4, lightroom etc...

The specs are pretty good IMO.

Mine is the better of the 2, 2x2GB core2Duo, 120Gb drive, dvd writer.

I upped the ram from 1gb to 3gb, much faster when working on photos, then added a couple of external drives.

Yes its more expensive than the same spec PC, but you get what you pay for, and mine hasnt let me down once.
