Yes
Hi all,

I never bothered upgrading to Leopard simply because I was just learning to use Tiger..

I'm now in the bored stages with my Mac, because that is me! so rather than buy a new mac book, I thought I'd spend 90% less and get the snow leopard upgrade.

However, I've read lots of reviews saying how bad it is etc...
I've also read reviews saying how good it is, and unbiased ones saying on a Mac with no hacks it will work without problem???

So my ultimate question is, my current Tiger machine, which is the epitome of reliability, am I worth upgrading to feed my gadget hunger or leave alone?? :)

Please remember that the majority of poor reviews are made by muppets who can't get a toaster to work properly.

Do you have an Intel Mac? If you do then you can upgrade to Snow Leopard. If not, back to the drawing board.

Yes it is an intel mac, 2.16 core 2 Duo 2 Gig 667 DDR2

I take most review with a pinch of salt, and pitch in the middle! :)
So worth doing?

Yes. The upgrade from Leopard to Snow Leopard doesn't add great new functionality as this update is more about the OS having been largely rewritten in more efficient code. It results in a much quicker machine with apps loading faster.

Oooodles for you to research via Google. It would be much quicker just to upgrade ;)
