Mac User. Open Lightroom when Card Connected and after Using External App?

Hi, cannot figure out how to on a Mac system make L/R cc open when I insert a card and also after exporting an image to DXO or Topaz from L/R cc, I have the OPEN option checked when card detected in L/R but does not happen, also if I export an image to DXO or Topaz app L/R minimizes and have to click on icon to open back up (not from scratch just re-appear full screen).

I have just tried to replicate what you are trying to od and it works for me. Opened LR, stuck SD card into my Mac Studio and LR loads the images from card straight away.

Under LR preferences / general / there is a check box under import options / show import dialog when card is inserted.
