I just installed Windows 7 on my MBP using Bootcamp and i cant get the drivers to install off my leapard cd whilst i am booted up in Windows it saying it need be Xp or Vista.

I am wanting to get my Trackpad to work correctly and my isight and what other drivers that are needed.

Can anyone advise please

Because Windows 7 is in beta stage, Apple won't have made any drivers for it yet

That is what I though but somewhere I cant remeber where said the drivers on the Apple DVD will work...

Never mind I can do most things anyway :)

I have just finished downloading it to check whether the photoshop scripts work with it. If I get it all working I will post a top tip on doing so

All my Apple computers came with Tiger and I use an upgrade to Leopard too.

I have 4 computers to re-install tomorrow :)..... I was going to stick it on a spare drive on the Mac pro and see what happens.... Todays top tip might help people too

Is it best to re-install then? As what I did I just ran Boot Camp Assistant and let it split my hd up and took it from there.. But I just cant install Boot Camp drivers within windows once it installed..

I have not even looked at it yet but I would start off with making a Vista drivers disk. You can book the windows 7 disk so I would try that. Installing Vista 64 sp1 and upgrading to windows 7 is another possibility.

I will have a mess tomorrow, just trying to get the EBS editor going with all the spangley new features you lot have been asking for :)

I dont even own Vista lol... That why I though I give windows 7 a try really hope you can get me going ;P
