Hey Guys,
I'm planning to take a trip up to Cad West on Wednesday this week to see what all the fuss is about before I spend a week down there at the beginning of next month. Is there anything I should be made aware of before I go? My only issue I can see at present is the Mrs wanting to know if she can go the loo anywhere... bloody typical
Any help is massively appreciated,

Cheers,
Kev

Wouldn't the impending ash cloud return put a damper on things if it does rear it's ugly head...

That's a very good point and it may well do. The RAF are being particularly cautious about the ash. And it does not, necessarily, depend on height. The concentration can happen at any level.
Checkout today's forecast (the charts for FL000 to 200 - that's surface to 20 000') and you can see Wales is in the "black" all day.

Be aware that the forecasts are updated every 6 hours and they do change dramatically (they are only forecasts after all).
