Royal Mail Special Delivery covers that value.
Is it just weight they are costing on 'cos I can't see anything about the size of the box. I am using the box my D90 arrived in last week, 30x25x25 cm?
thanks
great, thanks. Put it on the wife's kitchen scale when she was looking the other way...1.75 kg with the charger, strap, cables, cd and book. And a humungous amount of bubble rap, I'm very anal![]()

Its annoying when you just go over 2kg by a gram or 2 as then its in the £20 price bracket
I've done it before when forgot to ad the label etc![]()

I posted a camera recently, 1st class, no insurance, £3.71.
...And that is useful how exactly?
Oh, I forgot to mention that it arrived the next day.
My post may not have been particularly useful but at least it was on topic, unlike yours! :shake:
I did that once... Spent the next 10 minutes peeling off several layers of parcel tape to get the weight down..
Yes I am that tight!![]()

Can't really turn it back on me. Your post is no use whatsoever!
What camera was it?
What post service was it?
How much did it weigh?
Where did you post it to?
Your post doesn't reach the criteria necessary.
I sent a Sony a200 DSLR by post office RMSD and I believe it cost me around £22 or something like that, and it was full and I had to use as little packaging as possible to not go over the threshold. It arrived next day and that was sending from Tamworth to London.
The criteria necessary for what? For making a post?
Tamworth to London? Wow!
PS You really are very anal.![]()
