I've seen that Mallory Park have test days on a Wednesday. Thinking of going tomorrow to get my eye in taking some pics of cars/bikes.

So question is can I get trackside at Mallory on test days. Happy to be in the normal public areas as I know I can get some decent shots from there.

Also would you recommend shooting RAW or just JPEG. Any other advice welcome.

Have you been to Mallory before?

The public areas are trackside in most places. You may have to stand an extra 6 feet back from the barriers but it makes little difference there IMO

Personally I always shoot raw.
 
What I actually meant was are the public allowed in on test days. I don't want to travel down only to find I can't get in.
 
Yes, public access is available and last year it was under a fiver to get in.
