With my impending trip to Uganda looming (well, when I say looming I mean October, but I'm away for work for 5 weeks with plenty of internet shopping time) I'm trying to make sure I'm suitably equipped for it.
I'm going to be there for 2 weeks but will have no means of downloading photos so will have to carry enough memeory cards to see me through. Would I be better off having more smaller cards e.g 8GB or should I consider just a couple of larger cards? Obviously if I have smaller cards I'll lose less photos if there are any failures but I'll have to take more cards which will increase my chances of losing one/some. What are people's thoughts on this?
I have a couple of 8GB cards already but would half a dozen be a suitable amount to see me through? Obviously if I shoot jepg rather than RAW they'll go a lot further
