Not a lot of you guys will have heard of the name Mike King!, but I'll guess a lot of you will know his pictures!. Mike passed away a couple of days ago aged 52!, i'm a photographer about his age & learning a lot from his freely offered advice at sports venues where priceless!, (I'm talking about 35mm film here!), he was without doubt up with the greatest "follow Focus" sports photographers with the 400 & 600! in the world.

He was a great photographer and not just of sports. He was at the very top for many years, especially in the pre-digital era, and it was a real shame that he wasn't still working at that level as often as he should have done. Always loved seeing his stuff on Twitter.
 
Very sad news. A wonderful contribution to photography and always posting something interesting on twitter, too.
