My first milky way shoot of 2017 Now rising just the right side of midnight!
A spontaneous trip to a location scoped out a few weeks before.
First proper shoot with the samyang 10mm f2.8. I'd forgotten how tricky it is to manually focus on stars in live view, i'm not sure the focus is perfect to be honest but I'm happy with these.
The weather forecast had been crystal clear but we found ourselves with waves of low cloud coming over, luckily they cleared. Baku in the distance was well clouded when we got back, which is probably why there is such a strong glow from the ight pollution. In this case I decided to ty and use it to highlight the tree.
Constructive C&C welcome.
Thanks
Alan
