Another to visit to meet up with John and use his hides.
Weather wasnt great and the light wasnt much better really. Still had a very enjoyable day, rented a Nikon 300 2.8 from John and used it all day, either with or without a 1.7tc.

Number 2 for me also, very natural looking shot, though I would cheat and use the clone tool to clean up the bottom left area.

The thing what impresses me the most is the sharp focusing on the subjects.........nice.

Thanks @mulch , pretty much a combo of D500 and a 300mm f2.8 I guess...
 
I do strongly recommend Millers Wood to anyone that wants to shoot Uk birds in their natural habitat.......
