Minolta 50mm (Sony fit)

Picked mine up with a bag and a 28-80 (later sold for £20) for £80, so yes, they do come up about that price.

The price is about right for a good sample. I picked up mine for £50 before prices went crazy once people realised they could used Minolta lenses on their new Sony Alphas:lol: Btw it's a craking lens for the money!

Yes it's more or less the same. £80 is probably one in a very very good condition. Any more you'll be adventuring into the 50mm 1.8 DT lens price range.

Just slightly curious without sounding thick but is there any difference or is it the same. There is one for sale but the description reads minolta maxxum f1.7 AF. Is this same as the other minolta's for sale.

'Maxxum' was the branding Minolta used in the USA. It simply means the lens was originally sold in the USA, but is optically the same.
