Misty Moor Crichel, Dorset

Just back from a glorious 2 weeks in Dorset.

Spent many mornings out searching for bluebell and wild garlic woodlands. One morning we made a detour to see if Moor Crichel had any mist.

It took a while for the sun to get high enough to clear the surrounding trees, but luckily the mist stayed around long enough.

Fabulous dappled light. I'm not so sure about the composition - I want to move the first tree to the right, but I'm not really sure it would work.

Thanks - the light through the trees made me pick the first image. I wish the Pano had the same light, but even though it was only a few minutes or so later the mist was changing all the time.

I did spend quite a while looking through the images I had before deciding which to use for Flickr

Thanks Alan - the mist and light coming through the oilseed made me love that image. I just didn't like the light through the trees as much as the initial image.

Regarding composition, I would crop the extreme left of the image so the main foreground tree was on the left edge

Thanks This is why I almost always shoot panos when the conditions are great but changing quickly. Figure out the crop later
