hey there i usually do photography of abandoned buildings heres my website its kinda a work in progress *** www.vanishingdaysphotography.com

but ive been asked by someone to take some shots of her in some abandoned places and and some ordinary shots ive made my spare room all white so its kinda like a studio was wondering what over equipment i should invest in im kinda on a low budget *** im using a canon eos 400d will be upgrading soon *** was wondering wether a flash gun is a good addition for models
 
I would recomend a flashgun, one with ttl is great for a first gun as it works on the hotshoe automatically (allways v useful) like a 430ex or exII also google a better bounce card and watch the vids then play, I use a featherlight all the time. Also if your inside try ceiling bouncing.

alternative is multiple cheap manual flashes with triggers, but the learning curve is shallower with a single gun and I don't know how long you have to get ready
