I have been asked to do a modelling portfolio for a lady who is trying to get back into modelling....

help.

I am looking at the moment at modelling poses.... but im a tad stuck on locations....??? props etc??

im not artistic (i do try!).... but lack inspiration. This is the first time ive done a shoot like this...

I dont even know what to charge???? How many pics go in a portfolio etc?

She has seen my work...(people pics)..so knows what shes getting.

Can I respectfully suggest that if you are stuck on poses, location, props and presumably lighting then don't charge her. Look at it as a mutually beneficial arrangement. She gets photos, you get experience.

id be fine doing it for free :) as long as i get credited for my work :)

just need ideas etc now... :)

You should be looking to give her 12 to 16 very high quality prints in a decent leather presenter. These prints should include your model in four/five different outfits depending on her target market. If she requiers nude/undies pay particular attention to the lighting and background. Also remember that she should have a mixture of location and studio shots within her portfolio so the best of luck with this project.

thanks :) definately wont charge then

I dont have a studio (she is aware of this)....so know good places to do photos- howevver will see what she wants too as these are hers.

Have you thought about hiring a studio for a couple of hours?

yes. i emailed someone close to me and they didnt even bother repling,

Im in cheshire if anyone has any suggestions....? I personally dont mind travelling as i know it will save her a ton of money as it would just be the cost of stuio hire to her.
