Modelling Portfolios Help

Hi, just wondering, i've been asked to do a 10 year old boys modelling portfolio and the best the agency can give me is they want him 'smiling' and 'doing an activity'. Thoughts go to skateboarding, football etc just wondering if i'm along the right lines? as being 10, it seems an awkward age to associate activities with.

Are there any activities he particularly enjoys doing in real life? He'll probably be most at ease doing something he's done before or enjoys. I think football and skateboarding would look good though (providing he doesn't fall off!) Good luck!

Running, jumping, playing with a sword/light sabre or riding a bike spring to mind

i'll ask him what he likes doing most and hopefully it'll be something that'll look good in photographs (other than causing havoc for his parents i'm sure)
