As a firm believer in the maxim that one gets what one pays for, what would one get if one paid £200 for this 32inch monitor? I need something bigger for office work, mostly multiple spreadsheets and it will be used to partner a 27inch Benq.

I don't use it for photography work so not concerned on that account.

There are not many 1440 monitors at this price point and reviews are generally good but is there something I'm missing?

Many thanks :)

For office work type tasks it should be fine.

You could buy and expensive one which could also die just after their 12 months are over.

Personally for office work I prefer 2 equal monitors side by side. I currently have 2 x HP z23 monitors - ideal when I'm doing our small business accounts with spreadsheet on one screen and Sage on the other, etc.

There is someone I work with that has 2 monitors that aren't the same size / resolution and it would do my head in personally - might not be an issue for you if you don't drag apps from one screen to the other.

The monitor you linked to seems perfectly reasonable for what you want it for.

Thanks guys :)

No problem with two different sizes; I currently work with 27 and 24 inch monitors.

I'll give it some thought... Currently out of stock at Amazon :)
