Monitor calibrator - which one?

Yes
I have a new PC on it's way, and thought it was about time I treated myself to a calibrator to start off on the right track.

Looks like my choice has come down between Eye One Display 2 or Spyder 3 Pro.

They are similarly priced and, I imagine, both do what they are supposed to. Is there a recognised leader from these two, or are they fairly evenly split between users?

May I ask what made you narrow things down to either of the two (Eye One Display vs. Spyder 3 Pro.)?

I use a Eye One Display, never had a any problems, the software is really easy to use. Can't remember why I chose it over the Spyder or any other calibrator as I bought it a few years ago.

I use a Spyder 3 pro on my Imac and Windows PC, it works well, but I have not tried any of the other makes.
