Hello,
I'm looking for some help on purchasing a monitor and printer. I'm not looking for anything amazing. I'm happy buying 2nd hand too so eBay is great.
Printer wise I was looking at the Kodak Hero 5.1.
As for the monitor, is any Dell Ultrasharp good?

I'm not too sure about that printer, I've never heard of it and any monitor should be OK if it has an IPS panel, there are plenty of threads with advice on which ones to go for.

If you're intending on printing at home I would strongly recommend that you budget for a monitor calibration tool (such as a spyder), this will help you get your prints looking the same as what you see on your screen.
 
I did a search and did not come up with to many threads. Most I did see were talking of £300+ monitors. I'm looking to spend as little as possible.

With the printing, it will just be for small pictures and web stuff. I'll use photobox etc for for better higher quality prints.

Have a look at www.ebuyer.com as they have a decent line of monitors and printers at mainly good prices. I often use them for my computer parts.
 
Thanks, I'm just a bit clue less with this. What one person thinks is great another thinks is bad.
I ask here as you guys have a better idea if you have actually used them for looking at pictures and working with them.

I think dell currently have offers on the 24" IPS panels. Have a look on hotdealsuk.
