Suppose a landscape of sorts, found trying to shoot the moon really tricky so any advice to get sharper and a more balanced exposure would be appreciated. Never realised the Moon has so many bumps and lumps!
It's a good shot, maybe a tad dark.
Yours has more detail on the horizon than mine.
I use a D300 with a Sigma 150-500 lens at F8.
I was advise on this forum to try f11 which was better.
Thanks for the comments TwentySixDays, I must try shooting the Moon without the glare of street lights and the vail of misty cloud that was about last night.
Crikeys... A student?!... I wish! Maybe student in taking shots of low flying aircraft but my student days are well and firmly in the past like in the 1980's! Think I'll stick to Canon for the time being, the 7D could be the answer to the dark side!
