Before i bin them, does anyone need any 120 spools, 35mm canisters or 120 backing paper ?

I have dozens spare and need to clear out.

There may also be a handful of 120 canisters too though these are more limited.
 
how many 120 spools have you got? are they patterson or jobo spools? i could always do with more :)
 
Sorry i didnt make it clear.....they are thé film spools, not developing spools .....sorry

I think he means spools from the centre of 120 film, not processing spools.

Doh! Too slow.
 
I'll have a look and sée how many i have to offer......how many would you like?

As for getting them to you, are you going to the arundel meet next weekend?
 
wont be at the meet sadly tho can sort something via pm, looking for about 5-10 for weekends shooting in north wales to save my films from damp

Just had a quick look and could let you have half a dozen, possibly more......i'll have to dig in my "clutter" boxes and come back to you tomorrow.
 
I'd happily take a few cannisters off your hands at the Arundel meet if any are going spare!

If you're struggling to get rid of the 35mm ones try a local nursery, my kids one gets mine every few months.

Steveo, you come up some crazy ideas at times:p, but this one actually paid off! (y):D

Took a stroll to the local library in the village where they hold all sorts of creative events for youngsters including, constructing objects from recycled cartons, etc ..... Evidently they can put all the canisters and spools to good use. I suspect there'll be some little lad building himself a "35mm" robot with 120 format arms and legs on monday! :D:D

OK guys @ robhooley167 @ dave clayton I have nine 120 canisters spare.

I've sort of "promised" six of them to dave

If 3 aint enough Rob, then you'll have to battle it out with Mr Clayton ( be aware Dave, he has a lethal weapon ( RB67) hidden behind those broad shoulders of his :D:D)

@ robhooley167 To save me messing about posting from here to Dave, if I bring all nine to Arundel, perhaps you can forward Daves share onto him?....I'll buy ya a tin o' beans if ya do!:p:D:D

Plastic ones from EFKE 127 film
 
I imagine @Crtm will want some... may have to come to Arundel to get it, though. Maybe her flight from Inverness could get to Gatwick the same time as yours from Nice... ;)

top lad for that i appreciate it tho i think a crown graphic beats the rb67 tho that gives you back problems

It's more difficult to get through Watford Gap security ( especially for them Scots!:D) than what it is for me to sneak across the channel with the help of " La Résistance"
@ Crtm If you keep hold of your 127 backing paper, you can spool 35mm film ontoyour 127 spools.
It is narrower film and has to be compensated for when composing but it can save you a small fortune and film and you could dabble in a bit of colour ( shoot vista quid film, dev in c-41 or cross process in b&w chems and simply boost the lack of contrast in PP)

I can hold onto 'em no prob and send em from here whenever you're ready or, if you need 'em quite quick I can bring them to the UK next week and bob 'em in the post from London....entirely up to you.

No probs....they're packed ! ...where the h**l i'm supposed to put a change of clothes in this flight case, I've no idea!!

@RaglanSurf ..Nick, will it matter if i stink a bit by the time it gets to monday?....We can always open a window at your place! :D

Actually I probably wouldn't need them as I have 6 rolls of 127 film plus one in the camera waiting to be used so I can reuse the spools from them. Never thought about keeping the backing paper though good idea will do that for future use.

OK I can do ten ......I'll leave the papers on the spools . That way they wont get crushed / creased in the post.

PM your addy Paul ( I do have it but where i dunno) and I'll sort 'em for you.
