Nipped across to Formby with Marcel this afternooon.
The place was deserted which brought lots of the Reds out.
I never get tired of this place.

Aren't they just the sweetest thing? I love all the colours in the first one - looks very autumnal.

Second one is great, fat little bugger isn't he! :D

lol , he would come over and take the hazel nut out of my hand
then go and sit behind a tree to eat it.

Thanks everyone.

that looks like a disney squirrel. great shots (y)

I'm just jealous again - havent seen one for years! Common even in Surrey in my childhood. Lovely pictures - keep them coming for us to enjoy!

I prticularly enjoy the second one. Great color and sharpness.

Great catches, those are.

Haven't seen red squirrels for years , swap you 2 grey & a black for one red ???

You will all have to come up to Formby and see them for yourself.

No swapping allowed :nono:

You never know, these could be totally wiped out over the next couple of decades.
Hopefully not. :shake:

Thanks again.

Fab colours... but the second one looks like he's been eating all the pies!!
