Transformers!!! I'm not sure if they were ever big here in the 80's but I was a HUGE fan. And now that my age group has the most expendable income we are being heavily marketed to. So they've made a movie. I expect it to be allot like the Citroen camercial but with bad acting. I can't wait!!! (Really I can't)

Yep they were a big thing here. I worked in a toy shop back then..eeek that's a long time ago.
We had a promo with a couple of guys in costume from Hasbro (iirc) the shop was packed out with kids...and adults!
They've had a bit of a revival though, in recent years haven't they?

Yep they've had a revival I figure it is because the kids who grew up with them (me) now have kids to buy the toys for. And we do!

My son is past all the toy stage now, so I'm out of touch with what's going on with all the latest crazes and stuff. I'm starting to feel old!
