Very interesting.Never seen these before though have been bitten by the mozzy plenty times. I am told it is only the female that bites.
 
They certainly lay enough to keep us scratching Alby. Nicely detailed. Where were these taken?

The water looks very clean........scooped out of your pond into a clean container perhaps?
 
wow thats amazing, never ever seen them before and agree with Mr Ed without macrophotography we'd never see the ikes of this
 
Thanks folks, I scooped them out of my water feature and into a jam jar lid with a white base so to make photographing them easier but to be honest it was just as easy to shoot them in the water feature. :LOL:
