That was supposed to be MY chance.

An educational animal park asked me to shoot a quarantined
Deer that arrived on Monday. Since there is a STRICT ORDER
that no one should penetrate the fence Park employees tried
with phones and what not to take a shot at this cool creature.

The difficulty was that it stayed at the same place and position,
facing an opening between buildings and way too close to cap-
sure the whole head with everything…

Shorter focal length?
Smaller aperture, in every one of them the nose is OOF giving the amount of shadow I would imagine you could easily have gone
for F8 or F16 to keep eveything in focus
 
Focus stacking might have helped with the nose........

But lovely opportunity for a beautiful beast................

Not really, Mark, unless it keeps absolutely still for it.

For the director, picture was only needed to tell the
sender that it arrived and is doing well. I was promi-
sed better opportunities after the quarantine. :)
