Yes, I do like the look of "show bikes" but never felt the urge to own one. Like the processing on your shots though.

Only if ALL the lights work at the same time and the thing will still run...

Forks are going to take some strain with that setup, needs some Earles or similar, but nice none the less.
Be interested to know how the spoked wheels cope too.
Pretty sure he is a regular at Weston bike night, will try and ask him in the spring.

When I say my bikes get serviced 'on the nail', this is what I mean. I should have done the picture before I took her for a test ride!DSC_5238.web.jpg

Hi, HEINKEL Tourist, a German fourstroke scooter.

Today, no one would buy a scooter named Tourist, but in the austere 50s, everybody wanted to be a tourist, and very few could afford this ... --- :

Is that a centre-stand on the Speedmaster? If so, where did it come from - mine doesn't have one so the chain's a PITA to check and adjust!

Tidy looking kettle.

You are going to have to put a NFSW label on this thread if you keep posting bike porn!;)
That is one sweet looking bike, got any details?

Vale Speed m/cs. Ben built the frame to have some kind of Ariel look about it, but much more minimalist than the Atom lattice frame. This is lighter than a single tube frame and much stiffer - he deliberately wanted the twin beam frame right through. The engine is a CG125. The ne frames are available as a rolling chassis, or he will build a bike and incorporate any alterations - the next one will have a sprung saddle for instance!

I should have added, this is his own bike and he is going to ride it down to Italy and do the Stella Alpina Rally with it. A proper rider he is.

He must be if he's going all that way with a CG125 motor doing the work!

Respect to him! Guessing that a CG125 motor will keep him cruising at 55-60 most of the way, it'll take him a while but my BiL rode his pushbike to Rimini (via Spain - Plymouth-Santander ferry then headed East) at less than that!

Sorry for posting a riddle. :sorry: Maybe it is a spare-parts-hybrid. :)
yes...
i looked for jam pots...but the engine had a different look to the Ajays i remember
