Move from Nikon D7100 to YouTube video setup?

Yes
I've had this Nikon D7100 setup for many years
  • Nikon D7100
  • Tamron 17-50 2.8
  • Sigma 70-200 2.8
  • Sigma 18-35 1.8
  • Nikon 18-140 3.5-5.6
  • SB-700 Flash
Honestly, in the past 3 years I've used the 18-140 for my daughters summer dance shows and that's about it. For the rest of the time it just sits there gathering dust.

I've started getting into YouTube type videos at home and wondered whether to sell all this Nikon stuff and buy something else as the my old Nikon does not seem the best fit for this? Even the best D7500 DX seems to have video limitations?

I'm currently using a Hollyland Lyra 4k webcam and an audio interface / dedicated mic, so audio is sorted.
So wanting to connect the camera over USB to the PC so it appears as a device (or through something like an elgato cam link?)

As well as something like a 16mm 1.4 (or any prime) for talking head stuff, i'd still like to be able to do the dance show stuff, so using a 18-140 replica zoom.

Any suggestions on what sort of body/lens I could go away and look at?
It doesn't have to be the latest and greatest body as long as it does what I want.

Thank you.

I'm sort of thinking the Sony A6400?

Gives me very good 4k video along with the elgato cam link.
But I could still shoot the dance stuff with a zoom lens.

The viewfinder of the A6400 appeals over the video only ZV-E10 (although the ZV-E10 would do all the video stuff I needed).

Just thinking the A6400 would give some longevity? (despite it already being 7 years old!)

I'm now considering keeping most of my F mount lenses and getting a Z50 II and FTZ adapter.

The 18-30 1.8 sigma I've got looks like it might make a cracking talking to camera fixed lens?
