Moving back to a DSLR from Fuji, like the X-T1 but find it a bit too small for my hands to use easily, previously had a 70D with Sigma 35mm, but if I go back to DSLR I want FF.
As I currently have no lens from either brand I can go either Nikon or Canon. I don't think I can stretch to a 5D3 and the D750 is also a little too expensive. Leaving the choice between the 6D from Canon and the Nikon D610.
Its main use will be for travel and family shots, some portraits and I will be at a few weddings over the next year or two. I don't plan on any significant wildlife shooting regularly but may be going on safari again at some point (would hire lenses).
Any thoughts between the two?
In terms of lenses I am thinking the Sigma 35mm again and an 85mm 1.8, although a good zoom could probably cover all I need for now as the DOF will be much shallower than I have had with the crop sensors. The 24-105 Canon or 24-120 Nikon seem the best bets, conscious of not going with lenses that are too big to lump around all day while traveling and at weddings.
