Multiple image uploads for blogs?

Up until now I've always used tinypic to upload my images, but this only allows for five at a time to be uploaded. When updating a blog with 30+ pictures, this can get a bit tiresome.

Is there anything else that will allow me to upload more than 30 in one go so I can just copy and paste the tags into my blog?

Where's the blog hosted? Your own site, or somewhere else?

If your own site, what software are you running it on?

It's a Wordpress blog, hosted alongside my Bludomain website. At the moment I simply upload the images and paste the <img src etc tags into the post, which is absolutely fine, but I'd rather be able to batch upload them.

Wordpress has a built in photo gallery that can handle multiple uploads... Or, you could install nextGEN gallery onto it, which can do whole galleries from a single zip file upload

My choice would be nextGEN gallery

How does that work though in terms of layout? I still want to have them in a long list below each other as opposed to a 'click for next image' or something like that, will it allow me to do that?

There's a few options... Thumbnails and a large image on click, with clickable navigation through each image after you've enlarged it, or you can simply generate links (I think)
