Hey there Everyone, Firstly my apologies for being so very late at starting this thread but I have been so very busy but here are my fist 9 weeks worth of images for your pleasure.

Hi there yeah Inoticed that and cannot work it out as in the post all i have done is add an image url link and copued and pasted my url from my flickr account as i would have done before and its not showing the images, any thought, idea's HELP..

Why aren't you uploading them to Flickr?

The forum is probably having problems with the URL of the image.

**Edit**Looking like not all of the URL's are from Flickr firstly and secondly you need to post the BBCode (click on your picture in Flickr and then the Share this drop down box, select BBCode and copy and paste that.)

Many thanks James for your help on this one all be it last year I didn't have to do it in the way that you describe when pointing to my images on Flickr, None the less it works Yaah! finally so Again I am sorry for the late start to this year everyone and I hope you like the images now that you can perhaps finally see them?

I will get the other 3 images uploaded just as soon as I can so that will bring me up to date with my 2011 52 project.

Week 10

Melissa

Hi there and welcome back, WOW! what a couple of weeks I have had and it continues into next week as well!! lots of stuff happening at the moment and there just isn’t enough hours in the day.

Well Friday saw me travelling to sunny Loughborough to visit the lovely Melissa for a test shoot and what a fantastic person to photograph, Melissa was awesome and I sincerely hope that we hook up again soon for a follow-up shoot, the theme of the shoot was “Casual” and it was all shot in her front room using flash guns to create this stunning effect. I have had to do very little to this image and I love it!. it was hard to decide amongst so many great images taken on the day .

Well this coming week is fully booked up with out of work activities, some of which involve photography and then I have 2 shoots this coming weekend! I am still looking for people to model for me in the Glamour (Implied Nude) genre so if you fancy trying it or know of someone who would? please let me know.

There has been a few modifications to my website and there is still plenty to do however I just ne3ed to find the time! OK guys have a great week and remember to leave your feed back via this blog site, Jurgen.

Week 11

Head Held High



Hi there, wow how the weeks are whizzing by! I trust you all have had a great week? well this week has been a busy one for me but it all culminated in what was to be a dull and drab weekend. Next week offers me more stuff to sort out in my little photographic world, and hopefully I will be doing 2 shoots next weekend? so keep an eye on this space as more strikingly stunning images hit your screen.

this week see's another image of the stunning Melissa who I had a photo shoot with about a week ago now, I have given it the monochromatic feel and adjusted the tonal curves within the picture to give a slightly cooler feel and thus emphasize the shadows a little and then sharpened where necessary, job done! beautiful! Also this week one of my images of Melissa will also be going into club competition so fingers crossed there! Once again thank you for your time Melissa and I hope you liked the images that i sent you?

Ok guys and gals have a great week ahead as I know mine will be quite busy and hopefully I can muddle through the week to get me to what hopefully promises to be a much better weekend than this one?

Week 12

Babe In The Woods



Hello and welcome back, well after last weekends washout, I had a great turn in events and finally managed to get clicking that shutter as I headed of to Elvaston Castle in Derbyshire to have a fantastic photo shoot with the loveley Lauren. We had a great day and couldn’t have asked for nicer weather!

So this weeks blog shot was INCREDIBLY! hard to choose from the many many images we captured on the day, so here is this weeks photo I hope you all like it? not a great deal done to it to be honest as I don’t like to change much where ever possible. just a little sharpening and colour correction and a very slight vinyette around the edge to draw you back into the frame to focus on Lauren.

Sunday I went out locally with my friend to have a kinda mini photo shoot with our friends Jackie and Amanda which was great fun all be it Jackie didn’t want to model for us (Spoil sport) but Amanda was great and just as soon as I get a chance I will upload some of those images as well yah!

Well that about wraps the week off again and before we know it we are back at work! I have a busy week planned ahead and another shoot this coming weekend so keep a look out for some more images.

Hey there guys, welcome back to what has been for me the most eciting week ever! for so many reasons! where so I start?

Well it all started on Friday when I had a last minute stand in for a model, I met up with the superb Charlie and instantly clicked she is GREAT! and we will be doing a whole heap of shoots in the coming weeks so keep your eye’s peeled on here and at my Facebook Photography page at the following link (and remember to Like the page whilst you are on there to keep up to date with all my photographic adventures)

Also on Friday I had a one to one studio lesson with the one and only Terry Draper a seasoned and exceptional photographer, and my thanks go out to him this week for bearing with me and my many questions, I appreciate all your time Terry and thank you for your time.

So after this very exciting day I had to come back down to earth with a day at work in my day to day job (b****r!) well this didn’t help as I have a million things rattling around in my head and just cannot wait to click the shutter button! so with this in mind Sunday appeared and I was set to try my hand at a bit of a family shoot for my good friends Charlotte, Ed & Oliver which was bloody hard I must say and I am sincerely cream crackerred! BUT, WOW! we got some great images and despite the theme of family, I couldn’t choose which image to upload so I have opted for this one, It has a kinda 70′s feel to it and reminds me of a TV Cop show somehow?

Well I won’t go into the technical details of what treatment I have applied to this image, I just hope you all like it as much as I do? take a look at some of the other superb images we captured on this very exciting day at the Facebook link above.

Right I will stop rambling now, I am so excited at this very moment in time and I am sure that this smile will be well and truly rubbed off by the time I get to work tomorrow lol just to say again thanks to Charlie (My New BESTEST! Week 14

John Rockll000iffe



Hey there everyone week 14 and what a busy week I can tell you, I am so very tired but still so very excited all at the same time.

So this weekend really did start on Friday night as me and my friend Anthony Clay went to snap a few shots of John Rockliffe a up and coming music song writer / performer so armed with our cameras and a whole load of lighting kit we simply headed off to his house and used his back garden to capture some great images! so here is this weeks blog shot presented in B&W i hope you all like it and there are a few more images from this shoot on my Facebook Photography page if you want to take a look?

Saturday I went on a shoot with Laura my friend from work and we had a few snaps around town and then into Bestwood Country Park, we where accompanied by my great! friend Charlie who was my Photographic aid for the day and together we all had a great day (And Cheese Cake Yummy!) again there are some of the images from this shoot on my Facebook page (See above link)

Sunday I went to see the infamous Bodyline photographic studio in Long Eaton and wow what a great place! I got to meet a few people who I had only ever spoken to on Facebook so that was cool and invaluable to me from a networking point of view, I didn’t take many shots at all unfortunately being new and a little unsure but I am looking to book some studio time very soon! as I have to get into the swing of it sooner rather than later and will be back at Bodyline on 1st May to do a promotional shoot for Kickstart Magazine, so I am very excited about that for sure!

Ok I will stop rambling now, as it seems I have so very much more to talk about these days, and the plan for this week is a little more relaxed but the weekend will be full of photography again yaah! Hi Juregen, first of all sorry for missing your last few posts. They are all excellent! I have to say the stand out one for me is "Babes In The Wood" the colours, composition and clarity of the shot are spot on! Also I have just looked at your week 10 of Melissa, and I love the background colour, really compliments it well indeed. I have popped via your facebook page as well.
