Number 1 for me, like the blue colour. Shame they're not facing forward but hey we can't have everything.
 

You're getting a bit over the top with the PP sharpening. The vein structures in the wings are breaking up and the out of focus area is getting a graining effect from the over sharpening which is detracting from the image.

Yes, that is a lot better. If you're not using a macro lens what are you using to take these pictures?
 
Still not bad to say it isn't true 1:1 reproduction.

I had the Canon 100mm 2.8 but got shut, it doesn't get anywhere near as close as the Raynox DCR-250.
