i had my first run in tonight whilst taking some pics
were i work overlook's the glass house in Stanley park Liverpool and as i was coming out of work last night the colours in the sky were gorgeous full of pinks and reds that really showed off the glass and the architecture of the place but sods law i didn't have my camera with me, so this afternoon when i was going in i made sure i threw my camera in my bag just in case
now tonight the sky was lovely but just not a patch on last night but hopefully id get a nice silhouette of the glass house
i thought i might as well get a few shots whilst im there so up the fire escape at the side of the building i went and fired a few shots off, they must of had a bit of an event there tonight the car park was full, it was heaving with gorgeous women and they even had a red carpet out
anyway i had been shooting about 5 minutes not really taking any notice of what was going on just waiting for the sun to drop to a better position etc etc, trying different adjustment's on the camera to see what i got then...
this woman in a suit came stomping over and gave it the old "oy what are you doing you cant take people's pictures without permission", now with her attitude if it was a fella id of just told him to foxtrot oscar but being the gent i am i said "for a start im taking pics of the sunset and secondly im pretty sure i can take pics of who i like on public land"...she argued that they have an official tog and they didnt want any other pics and she will be calling security/police
tough titty say i
i reiterated that i was only taking pics of the sunset so not to get her knickers in a twist and to jog on and call who she likes
do you think il make it in the diplomatic corp
to be fair if she never came over with that "oy you attitude" id of been a bit nicer to her no doubt but whats good for the goose is good for the gander and all that
anyway here's one of the shots, slight changes in PP and took out a lamp post and windmill on the horizon with the clone brush

im sure it would of been better if the sun was directly behind it but there's a bloody big wall in the way if i wanted to take it from that direction, i do like the sunburst's though
