Somehow, I think of Mitcham Common as being a lot flatter than that!

It is mostly flat but there is a section on the East side where there are a few short sharp hills - the runners were sent over these repeatedly to toughen up the race. The location was more scenic than I expected it to be, having driven past it a couple of times.
