Enjoying playing with my Canon 60mm. Am constantly amazed by the incredible super macros but this is my limit for now.

I quite like this but the background needs cleaning up just a little bit as it's a little stripy

Thanks Matt yes you are right....I had to tip my monitor to be able to see it though. I can never get the brightness right on my monitor.

This looks good, what lighting did you use? I can't see anything wrong with the background either, unless you have edited it now?

Thanks david, no I haven't edited it. I am using a coolite 9 with the octobox suspended oved a sheet of white acrylic (very thin like paper) and using a reflector to light the chassis. Although I am thinking of constructing a light table, not sure I want to lose the shadow underneath though. The problem with lighting locos from the top is that in most case they are much lighter on top than the chassis.
