Name not showing in Metadata when using EOS Utility

I have entered my name in the appropriate section of EOS Utility to enable it to appear on each of my images' metadata.

However, when I go and check that its right in DPP under File Info, my name shows on the Shooting Information tab but there is a blank on the Metadata tab Author section.

My name is also missing when I look in the File Info dialog box in Photoshop CS4.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Did you connect the camera to your computer then open the EOS utility and then enter your name?
Also are you checking older images or are you checking images that you have taken after making the changes?

Might sound daft but just wondering how you have actually done this before offering advice

I opened EOS Utility after connecting the camera to the laptop then put my name in.

All pictures taken since doing this have had my name in the owners part of the Shooting Information tab but it does not appear in the Author section on the Metadata tab
