My wife is currently going about the schools our ten grandkids attend to see their nativity plays. At one last night they were only allowed in with a ticket then escorted into the hall. Fine no problem they were then told no videoing, no cameras and no mobile phone pictures unless you got a ticket giving permission. A bit strange considering family only at play then told parents only could have one and if you do want to video or take picture, it can only be your own child and they must be segregated from the rest first. Its an infants play about baby Jesus and good will on earth etc, an event thats always been photographed no problem as a record of your child growing up, why sudden changes of heart. Is any one else having this or is it an isolated case that a phobia has now hit even family only events, regarding cameras. sorry about starting this ive just seen other thread.
