..for my Dell 1545 laptop.

Now I would prefer genuine, but not willing to pay their £120 quid + prices direct from Dell! Its crazy!

Has anyone got any recommended links / sellers / alternatives I could look into?

I got a couple of replacement batteries for a MSI wind netbook from Amazon in April (althou there not a Dell battery) but they were cheaper & done the job that they were intended for... they were replacements but NOT originals - they are slighthly fatter/longer than original batteries but it didn't cause any problems to us in using them..

Yeah I had a look, do those numbers relate to the service tag on the bottom of the machine ? If you can't get an answer ask over at notebookreview.com
 
Yup. But none refer to the codes on the Duracell site!

Google only returns Duracell site when those codes are searched too....
