Need some pointers

Im after a DSLR but haven't really got a clue about cameras. Ive been pointed in the direction of a few and the Sony A200 seems like a good buy as i dont want to spend too much and it seems like you get good bang for buck from it.

Can anyone give me some advice on this camera, and where the best place is that i can get my hands on one (preferably new) for a competitive price.

Looks good cheers, only thing is though it says 'Digital Camera Exchange' offer the Sony
Alpha A200 + 18-70mm Lens Kit for £257.98 inc p&p, however when continuing onto their website they only have the camera body for sale.

Ill have a play in Jessops tomorrow as well, good thinking.
