just ordered one of these as price was excellent as an open box without gimbal which I already have anyway, they appear to be Gitzo copies? and watching a video about nest tripods they said they were made by worlds largest manufacturer of tripods and nest became a mini project for them ? Well if tripod is as good as the gimbal I'll be very happy!

Anyone on here have any experience ?

At first glance, an acceptable solution:
tripod
• 3 section legs ✓
• 36mm ∅ could be fatter ✗
• 8 ply CF look for 10 ✗
• check if the twist leg locks are easily taken apart for cleaning​
gimbal
looks ok, 10 plies are a minimum
keep the head camera right if using manual and/or zoom lenses​

The most crucial point is not mentioned:
the tripod plateau should be CNC'ed not casted!
 
Thank you for the feed back Kodiak it's appreciated, I've had that gimbal for around 3 weeks now really impressed it has a nice fluid feels (not sure if I it is fluid based but it's nicely dampened and feels really solid) hoping tripod feels the same, do you think it's cast? Or just a heads up in case when it arrives it's something for me to look for / be careful of?

A common bad practice is to use a gimbal head on a column.
A better practice is to set the gimbal head on a levelling base.
 
Just found this on another sellers site so hopefully it will be correct when it arrives

  • Materials: 10X carbon fiber & CNC milled aluminum like Really Right Stuff tripods, not cast like Gitzo tripods (cast alloy tripod parts can break in colder temperatures)

This was another reason I like the tripod it comes with both centre column (not sure if I'll ever need it though) and a centre plate again like the Gitzo systematic which makes it like a solid plateau which hopefully is what you mean ? Picture attached with the disc in photo

Nope, this included base is not a levelling base… just an attachment base.
The levelling base is a must when using a gimbal head, otherwise not, for
ex. when using a ball head: then the column makes sense but not the
levelling base.

This video does not answer your question and worse, I am not sure of the
cleverness of their gear compares to the Feisol who's approach was really
guided by pros.

The decision power is all yours as long as the money is still in your pocket,

It's arrived today and it's bloody impressive piece of kit only un-boxed to check it so far and it came with more accessories than I expected so a real bonus there :) will post some images up and more feedback when I get time
