lend your camera to anyone..

Just taken me hours to sort mine out ( i am not the best at the tech stuff) but lent hubby my D90 ( he normaly uses my D50) got it back and as it was tp day yesterday but i was bad with joints.. i waited untill i thought i could try and use MY camera.. yeah right mr rocket man had changed just about everything to the point i had no idea what he had done honest i was going to kill him. and being so shattered had to give up.. sorted it now he is in the dog house and looking for a waterproof housing for MY camera as we speak.. not sure there is one but we shall see.

so be warned.. :D:bonk:

Ha, i do regularly - worst they ever do is waste an exposure but it's just a bit of fun, really :)

You can do a full reset of shooting settings by pressing a certain combination of buttons (I think they're the ones with green dots next to them, you have to press them at the same time, wait for the top LCD to blink, then press them again).

thank you FF but i sorted it but going to make him suffer.. sooooooooooooooooo much

Poor Mr Gumbo!

Isn't it about time he got his own camera rather than keeping pinching yours?

of course , a bloke would have known what all the buttons and knobs do and re-set it straight away, ( bit like driving a car really ) :D

I did give him it back and said sort it but he said "i don't know" anyway all sorted now. and Nod you would think he would just give up and get his own but he says he is not a geek.. he is welcome to the 50 but never again is he using the 90. (blinking men)

We have different brands so mine won't touch my camera :D could be an idea for Christmas

surely it doesn't take that long to put it back in auto mode? :p

easy, next time he asks to borrow your camera, give him a £2.99 netto disposable!
