My new 40D has just arrived. Does anyone know how to time travel 2 hours until the battery is charged? ;)
 
Enjoy! Yes just wait 15mins, there should be enough to pay for a while...Get some spare batteries ***!

Was it that deal off eBay by any chance?
I heard if you stand on your head (for 2 hours)When your feet touch the ground your battery will be ready.

I'll go for a run on the snow to calm down. When I get back it'll be fully charged. :) Yes, getting spares.

Was a great deal. I nearly sold my 40d to get it, deal fell through though!
Kind of glad now actually, but its still a bargain!
 
After stepping outside the run idea has lost all appeal. The sleep idea, however, is fast gaining ground in the race to pass the time. ;)
 
Doesn't the 40D take the same battery as the 350D?
 
how long did it take from ordering to delivery please ?
I ordered one this morning and cant wait :):)
 
The 40D takes a BP-511 battery which does not fit the 350D.

Which 40D deal is it thats referred to in this thread?

I bought the same item how long did it take to arrive?

I only ordered in the early hours of the 6 Jan, so i'm sure it will be a couple of days yet with the weather as it is.
I see all 115 are sold now didn't take long

so whats the verdict . was it 100% brand spanking new ? any damage to the boxes etc ? is it better than you expected ?

god im like a kid at christmas cant wait to get mine :-)

Pretty sure it will be all ok, seems I had heard good feed back to them when I was considering getting one.

Only thing I did notice though (as it was one of the reasons I was considering selling my current mint 40d to get it) Was that the year warrenty they offer doesnt sound so convincing.. Reading the small print, dont think id like to try and claim on their warranty.

Enjoy your new cameras though :) And if anyone fancies selling their lens, for a good price, I may be interested :thumbs:

Mine arrived this afternoon, perfect no damage to box still sealed all the bits and bobs, battery charging now

Just need to get some CF cards. :bonk:
 
hope mine comes tomorrow. Also ordered a cf card from amazon so hope that comes too so I can have a play .:):)
