Am off for a few days camping in the New Forest with friends and family in a couple of weeks its not an area I am familier with can anyone suggest some good spots for a spot of Landscape photography?
Watch out for ticks!! Evil little things...one attached itself to my arm there a month or so ago. Mind you I was laying in amongst tall grass and bushes trying to get some shots so probably my own fault!
Can't help with locations as we spent two days just driving around. The 'famous' water splash where animals apparently go to drink was a bit of a let down, that much I know. Beautiful part of the world though!
I've never done landscapes before so not sure exactly what you're looking for, but try the road between Holmsley bridge on the A35 and Picket Post. The terrain drops away to the west to give you decent views, particularly just before you reach the A31.
You can get some great sunsets across the salt marshes from Lymington, some smooth reflections at Hatchetts pond, some good snake photos at the reptile centre just west of Lyndhurst, but to be honest, it's probably best just to drive around and see what you see - the wildlife often gives the best photo opportunity.
